This universe needs ...
This universe needs a press of the reset button. Gene Roddenberry was a man of great vision when he started it all back in the '60s, but his idea of the future contradicts human nature (no money, no religion, etc. come on now.) Also, there are so many different storylines, and different writers adding their own spin, that it's all now a big mess. I hope they get back to basics. And for God's sake, please no time traveling . . that blows holes in plots a mile wide.

I can't wait for this movie. To all people who says this movie will suck, they don't know nothing about the TOS. One thing is Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager, and another thing totally different is The Original Series. I'm fan since 1985.

who was the guy that narrated the Trek IV and V trailers? There are some who say it was Don LoFontaine but LaFontaine had a distinctly different vocal style, (in the 80's as well) it is possible he altered it for different trailers but i think was a different guy. Anyone know?

It's a remake of the Origional Series (Kirk, Spock, ect.) but it starts out in the Post-Nemesis universe, and somehow old Spock get's back in time and an alternate timeline is created.
