I read the book ...
I read the book like a month ago and i loved it, it's a true love story... this is even before i knew there was a movie about it. so i would say, read the book first and then watch the movie, it makes it so much more interesting. And whoever says the book is not worth reading is wrong, that it was not their topic of interest is something else. I really got into it and im glad i did. Garcia Marquez is one of the greatest of our time.

I don't know about this movie...
The plot looks good, but I think it would've been a better with everyone just talking Spanish with English subtitles. It would've been more authentic. Plus, it would've been better than the actors trying to talk English or trying to fake a Spanish accent. It would've been more natural.

i haven't seen this movie yet but javier is an amazing actor! I can't wait to see him in it. His emotions are so strong, like when he is looking through the telescope in this and he's cryinging i feel so sad. and when they see eachother again. Side note! The younger florentino really looks like a younger version of javier! Love it! Want to see it sooo bad!
