I am also working on a film about empowered birth and parenting, using the HypnoBirthing Method and Waterbirth to allow parents to birth in an atmosphere of safety and intimacy.
I posted a video response of a mother and father laboring in the tub together and greeting their baby together.
You can also check out my channel: BirthBliss.
Thank you for your passion and commitment.

For low-risk women, birth at home or in a birthing center is safer for all concerned and allows for compete participation by family and friends. Even if you have to or choose to birth in the hospital, you don't give up your rights as a parent when you walk through the doors. Separation of mothers and babies without a medical reason is simply wrong. Shoving dads/partners off to the side and giving them only two jobs - get ice chips and cut the cord - is also wrong.
Thanks for making ...
Thanks for making this film. There is so much education to be done to empower men & women to be conscious parents from the very beginning.
So often, fathers are stuck in the "fix it" mode where they feel their job is to protect their wives and babies from harm, but they accept society's view that birth is safer in the hospital and view out of hospital birth as an emotional choice, rather than a safety choice.
