I started watching this on TV the other night and turned it off half way through. I'm just too big a fan of the original. In particular, I'm not big on how they make Damien in this new one so creepy. From the look of him, you can just tell, "demon child!" In the original, he just looked like a normal little kid. In this movie, it's clear that Damien is the son of the devil. In the original, you never really knew until the end if he was evil or if the parents were losing their minds.
