I wonder if this fallowed the books? I saw disneys tarzan and remembered when i read hunchback of notre dame , it was compleatly different from disneys telling. The same was true for the tarzan books. i had to hunt them all down, because there out of print. once I read them i understood why they were out of print. i Iove the stories, but will never agree with the authors points of view, he was both sexist, and racist, and it showed in the way he wrote his characters.

I love you Brenda Grate (young gorilla TERK's voice) because you did an amaaaazing impression of a young Rosie Odonnell. Terk is my favorite character. Thank you for the clip. Adorable film!

I'm just a Tarzan fan, but what exactly are you people arguing about here? Whether US makes better movies, not anymore. They did during the 30's & 40's the heydays of the Hollywood Studio System, that's when they gave the world the masterpieces of the movies. Just like the Europeans & other civilizations gave the world their masterpieces in the other arts, fair enough?

Many thanks for your kind words about my site. I too have read all of the ERB Tarzan novels and they are great fun. Did you see my lengthy section on The Tarzan Novels on my site? That's probably not Darla from our "Our Gang" because MGM didn't acquire the property until 1938. In 1934 they were still under contract to Pathe.
