The movie was never released on the big screen, Shame, I saw the original in theaters when I was 14. The extra footage was released in a collectible tin with all the superman movies. Including Superman Returns. I don't remember if the special edition was released by itself or not. I bought the tin instead. lol

Check out some of the other "remakes" on YouTube that people have thrown together for this movie. I can sum it up perfectly for you. One guy has a bass box playing rap in his trunk that will shake a foundation. The other has beautiful, breathtaking symphonies playing on his 6x9s. Which is better. Our current generation is so narrowminded, they would go for "awesome" bass. The educated go for emotional content. The trailer sums it up perfectly. RIP quality entertainment.

As i said before: at the time. Spacey played him in 2006, 38 years or so after Hackman. Obviously the character had changed.

But K. Spacey played him as being pretty much focused on revenge, with the extra goal of building a new land mass that he could rule over without Big Blue getting in the way & spoiling his party. Not much of the con - man schtick in " S.R. ".

Well, this movie wasnt bad, it was actually good. The problem is that it was made after the excellent first one and the brilliant second... I love the junkyard fight.

Why does this movie sell Richard Prior as it's main star? crap. If they made a trailer for this film today it would do the right thing and sell it off "Superman's darkside battle" as Spiderman 3 did.

May I say I love your editing on this. I'm an editor as well in Los Angeles. I cut some JLA trailers as well. I like that you chose these 2 actors. Let's face it. There's more footage to choose from with them, especially Chris. My ONLY complaint is that you mixed the music too loud. Listen to this clip and you'll see. When I put a fan trailer together, these hardest part is finding great dialogue, & you nailed it. Now let's hear it. It's way too good to lose those great words. Do more!!
