This is a little off-topic but... The moon missions were faked. Google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did we land on the moon?". On page 15 there's a partial summary of hoax evidence. It's the seventh post from the top. After the Apollo hoax, we have to wonder about everything else too. Do a YouTube search on "MarsFaker".

Lol, Mars's got an etremely thin atmosphere, and just half the gravity of earth: It is relatively easy to get off that red rock, vertically.

BUT on the subject of this movie- it's actually quite good as a time waster, you just have to ignore the mistakes and treat it as a B-movie lol.

I haven't seen it yet (In the US)..... but I hear the CLOISTER BELL throughout the trailer. Cloister Bell = always very bad.

Love it. There are very few Mark Stewarts around, musicians that can sum everything up just with a guitar sound, or screech or whatever. The Pop Group were such an interesting band, so stylish, so raw. Can't wait for the doc.

This stuff was so weird and mind warping at the time. Mark Stewart was a serious pioneer and yes, a huge influence. Nothing had ever sounded like this before. For me , it still stands out and maybe I am a jaded old timer , but it sounds better than anything that came after . Can't wait to see this !

Love the trailer! Concerning the American version, I agree that it's not as good as the UK LoM, but do people have to keep bashing it so hard? They tried their own thing, had their own twists... So what if they dulled down the violence & cursing - it was the story & characters that made the UK LoM great. Obviously the US saw promise in the original or they wouldn't have made an adaption. That makes them fans too. Wish the UK show had gone on longer. It's wicked as it is, but I want more!

Wrong ... Jon Peters (the producer) was Barbra's longtime boyfriend at the time. The mega success of A Star is Born, enabled him to get this little movie made on his own instead of riding the coat tails of Barbra. But he was able to persuade Barbra (only 2 A's) to sing the theme song. By the way, this movie was a flop and suprisingly, not a hit song for Barbra either. Not until the original Batman (with Michael Keaton) did Jon Peter's career REALLY take off.

Excellent mystery-suspense classic from 1978 that any intelligent intellectual would enjoy. Faye Dunaway's best performance!
