Prior to losing my leg, I was in a full cast for seven months and never covered my toes except outside in cold weather. After about one month being at work in my cast I noticed that many of the women in the offices began to wear open toe shoes which is alowed as long as they are in good taste. During that time, and even now, I get a pedicure about every two weeks and now it is half price.
