thanks to the British who ignited a civil war before leaving the country. the civil war started in 1955, Sudan gained its independent in 1956, the last Brit solder left in 1958. when the war broke, the Brit army refused to let the newly formed Sudanese army go to the south to stop the rebellion. they armed the rebels and kept on supporting them till peace was reached a couple of years ago. and they are doing the same now in Darfur, all because we defeated them back then it is called a vendetta
