One of those films ...
One of those films that, while you're watching it, feels like life - slow, laconic, with the occassional jarring surprise. But, when it's over and it resonats (and it does), boy, does it have the power to get under your skin. A fine examination of xenophobia, of parading machismo as a front for homosexual leanings, of the disconectedness we all feel when confronted by economic trouble and neighboring intolerances.

BTW - the dialogue is something like this. The Man: "Rosy is a whore now". "Really?": The girls. "Franz wouldn't pay her because she likes him". Etc. The brunette goes to see Rosy and demands her to pay her back some money. Rosy responds that people shouldn't believe all that they hear.
