Katyń jest dla nas Polaków niewyobrażalną zbrodnią. Ale jest też symbolem. Symbolem wszystkich krzywd i cierpień których doznaliśmy na byłych kresach wschodnich po 17 września 1939 r. Masowe deportacje polskiej ludności tych ziem na Syberię( poprzedzone często wielogodzinnymi marszami na stacje kolejowe, przy kilkunastostopniowym mrozie),grabieże, gwałty, egzekucje i najwymyślniejsze tortury. Wszystkim tym odznaczała się brutalna obecność bolszewików na kresach.

I hope this film wins the OSCAR on February 24, 2008. By the way, it will be premiering in the Berlin Film Festival which begins tomorrow (February 7th). It's Polish showing was on September 17, 2007 on the 68th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland.

obok listy schindlera- najpiękniejszy film o tej temtyce- jaki kiedykolwiek obejrzałam. A zarzucanie mu patosu i zbytniego nadęcia- bzdury! jak inaczej zrobić taki film? Tylko z patosem.

myślałem,że mistrz Wajda zrobi film tak piękny jak Pan Tadeusz. arcydzieło pulsujące życiem.
wyszło przeciętnie. trochę się zawiodłem.
ale ostatnie minuty i tak mną wstrząsneły.
