Highlander was a great film..wonderful characters..great concept...and the end...when MacLeod wins "the Prize"...that should have been it. It didn't need a sequel...as it clearly stood on it's own...It's still a wonderful film and will always be a favorite of mine..."Hey...it's a kind of MAGIC!"

I dissagree. how is "you won everything, all the immortals are gone other than you, you are now mortal" setting up for a sequel? The sequels were fabrications based not on the first movie's plot, but on the desire to ride on its coattails.
