they are both very well made. They really cover different things though so I would reccomend seeing them both. Agent of Grace is an entertaing drama, however the doc is longer and covers more of his lifes history.

I haven't seen them but I know Agent of grace is more popular and looks to me that it is well done.

Has anyone seen both bonhoeffer agent of grace and the 2003 documentary movie of him? I am curious for opinions of which one was more well done. I am currenty trying to decide which one I should buy.

I agree - THIS is a movie for people with intellect & a curious mind - NOT the dim-witted masses! If you have an interest in psychology, philosophy - you will love this movie - not to mention its the BRAINCHILD of Anthony Hopkins himself - Brilliant!

Don't be so smug. Transformers was a good movie. The sequel? Not so much. But don't get confused about the difference between a blockbuster, high budget movie and a bad movie. They aren't always the same thing. If you didn't like The Dark Knight or Ironman, then your taste in movies is different than mine. If you cannot see the intrinsic value in such movies(or good low budget dramas) then you are ignoring what cinema is there for...entertainment. Close yourself and be not entertained
