Yeah but keep in mind that the second and other playthroughs give us harder dungeons and sidequests to make up for it - Gladesheim, the Twilight Palace, the fight against the Level 100 Phoenix at the top of the Ruined Balacruf Mauseleom, and more. It's a great game, despite some minor shortcomings - like many Tales games, it starts out sounding a little typical, but by the end, you're left feeling immensely satisfied with the twists and utter plot wracks the Tales series is known for =)

only problem i had with the game, is that your first play through is the hardest, then the new games are a joke xD other then that its one of the best console games ive ever played
