I'm german and without the sound it's quite funny. A bit too too long but some nice moments.
Like the way the lines from the subtitle matches the emotions expressed in the movie.
And the best line is:
"Maybe the video game is good." Hahahaha!
But I didn't like the Sam Worthington-bashing, he's a very talented actor and it wasn't his fault that T4 was crap. McG and the vastly overrated Christian Bale are to blame for that.

This has likely ...
This has likely been suggested innumerable times before, but from what the trailers of Avatar present, I get the feeling that it will be a pretentious film reminding white Americans why they suck for taking the quaint and perfect Native Americans' land, with a bit of an environmentalist message against the destruction of rain forests and the evils of capitalism thrown in for good measure.
To be frank, these are not messages that I have any interest in hearing. The movie may be good anyway.
Even more important ...
Even more important than the special effects is the fact that right now, plans are being made by our government to murder indigenous people so that American investors can make money from their natural resources. So, if all you see is a movie about blue elves then yes, you're petty and you're missing the point.
