I am an engineer who worked in aerospace & now conditions people through behavior modification. I agree it was heat from jet fuel. I am well aware of environment of jet fuel when it's used for propulsion & lubrication. There's a reason jet fuel is used to propel large objects & there is a reason why an Arab would like jet fuel to be still in the plane (i.e. plane to go to west coast not going very far before being turned back) upon striking U.S. targets.
