I don't know I know alot of people olf fans of the series and new thats dislike the new release. Everyone has there own opion of 8 hate or love it. 8 was great just unlucky that it came after 7.

There are many ...
There are many people who see FFVII as the game that ruined the series. Same with FFVIII and FFX. Some even say that it started going downhill at FFVI. There are also people who came in at VII and left at X, and so forth. Not everyone likes the changes. Some old fans don't like what it has become. It appeals to a new audience now, who may or may not have liked the series in it's original form. FF has been improving. It just hasn't been improving in the direction that appeals to you and me.

I get what your saying and i'm all for change Final Fantasy just hit a downward spiral going faster and faster. I tried eveyr new FF game *sadly* and it has become one of the worst rpgs of our time because there ar ejust so many things worng especially with the new one that was a disgrace. FFX should have ended the series.
